Open-source Agent Skill

Browser Extension Launch

Turn a plain-language idea into a working Chrome extension, test it through the real browser entry point, and prepare it for the Chrome Web Store.

  • Skill CLI compatible
  • Real-browser acceptance
  • Release-state tracking
Start with a result, not a framework
Use $browser-extension-launch to build
a Chrome extension that saves selected
sentences and keeps them after reopening.

I do not program. Start with a local version.

One guided path

From idea to a verifiable release

The user makes product decisions. The agent manages implementation details, evidence, and recovery.

  1. Describe the outcome. The skill converts everyday language into a small first version and concrete acceptance criteria.
  2. Try the working extension. The current package is loaded through its native browser entry point and used twice, including reopen behavior when relevant.
  3. Prepare the release.Source, ZIP, permissions, privacy disclosures, listing copy, and actual submission states remain traceable.

Built with the workflow

Three real Chrome extension projects

Each repository includes a loadable extension, development history, final report, and documented verification boundaries.

Install

Add the skill to your agent

Installation is verified with Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and OpenCode. Skill CLI discovers the root skill and installs the complete folder for each selected agent.

Skill CLI

npx skills add xiehuan123/browser-extension-launch \
  --skill browser-extension-launch \
--agent codex claude-code cursor github-copilot opencode

npm installer

npx browser-extension-launch install

Git

git clone https://github.com/xiehuan123/browser-extension-launch.git \
  ~/.codex/skills/browser-extension-launch

Add -g for a user-level install. Runtime delivery also requires project file access, local commands, and a controlled browser provider capable of loading extensions.
